refund policy

  • There is a universal stance that most running events adopt as policy, where “all entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to a different year or event”. This is an important policy because, in essence the costs for a run are built into the event well before the event takes place. Naturally we do our best to produce great events but there are instances where circumstances prevent that from happening.

  • Transfer to a Virtual or another person: You have the option to transfer your registration to a virtual race or another runner. To do that visit your www.raceroster.com dashboard and select transfer. For full details on how to transfer click here.

  • This “no refund” policy applies if the course has to be changed or the race is cancelled for any reason, including but not limited to: an act of nature, public safety, road access, revocation of permits by authorities, or if there is any reason it’s considered prudent by the organizers to cancel or change the event. It applies to all entrants and is also in effect if you choose to cancel for your own reasons: if you are injured, have an unexpected family/business emergency, have a medical emergency, etc. The bottom line is that there are no refunds or rollovers to additional events. At the discretion of the event, the distances may be modified, or in some instances, the organizer may offer a “Virtual Race” option.

  • The language in the waiver that you agreed to during registration incorporates the following clause, among others: “I UNDERSTAND THAT …. REGISTRATION FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE AFTER 48 HOURS OF MY REGISTRATION FOR AN EVENT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT OR OF MY PARTICIPATION, OR CHANGE IN THE DATE, NATURE OR FORMAT OF THE EVENT; I UNDERSTAND AN EVENT MAY BE CANCELLED OR CHANGED FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, SEVERE WEATHER OR OTHER FACTORS THAT THREATEN THE SAFETY OF PARTICIPANTS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, OR THE COMMUNITY AND THAT CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF THE DATE, NATURE, OR FORMAT OF AN EVENT MAY BE MANDATED BY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS OR OTHERWISE BE AT THE DISCRETION OF PODIUM AND THAT PODIUM RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE DETAILS OF THE EVENT, SUCH AS DATE, START TIME, COURSE, DISTANCE AND/OR AMENITIES OFFERED IN CONNECTION WITH THE EVENT;""
