More than $200,000 was raised for the Ronald McDonald House Charities - Upper Midwest at the RBC Race For the kids on Saturday, August 4, 2018. This is a number to be proud of! Proceeds will provide more than 796 room nights for families with children in health crisis. Partner charity, World Vision, raised an additional $64,000 to provide fresh water to people in Africa.
We're highlighting 2 remarkable participants: Nichole and Rachel.
Rachel Hastings has an outstanding story about how she uses her vision condition to fuel her goals; read more in this blog post.
Nichole Porath is on track to participate in the next Olympic Trials & joined us again this year. Read more about her story, and her own recap of the race on her blog here.
This year's race drew more than 2,000 runners and 251 in-line skaters. And 100 kids completed the Kids Race. Thank you to all who participated and for the friends and family who supported the racers!
